Travel Bingo Cards

A spotting game that keeps kids busy on a long drive. Each card is filled with sights to watch for out the window — a red barn, a license plate, a roadside diner — and the first to a line wins.

Free to design and print · edit any square · 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5

Travel bingo is the classic backseat game for a road trip, a flight, or a train ride. Hand a card to each traveler before you set off, and the passing scenery turns into a hunt as kids scan for cows in a field, bridges overhead, and out-of-state plates rolling by.

Because every card is shuffled from the same square list, no two travelers get the same grid, so siblings can play side by side without arguing over who saw what, each chasing their own line of sights along the way.

Ideas for your game
  • Match it to your route

Edit the squares to fit the trip, swapping in palm trees and beaches for a coastal drive or pine forests and ski lifts for a mountain road.

  • Use it to keep the peace

Give each kid their own card so they hunt independently, which cuts the backseat squabbles and stretches a quiet stretch of highway much further.

  • Print a stack or play on phones

Print a card per traveler, or share one link and a QR code so older kids mark sights on a phone without dropping a paper card under the seat.

Editable and printable

Edit every square. Open the card in the editor, keep the suggested squares or replace them with your own words, emoji, or photos, and pick a theme that fits the day.

Print a whole set at once. Each card is shuffled from the same square list, so every player gets a unique grid. Print to standard letter or A4 paper on any home printer — or order professionally printed cards shipped to your door.

Or play live. Share one link and a QR code and the whole room plays from their phones, in person or over video.

Questions

How do I make travel bingo for free?

Open the editor, pick a theme, keep the suggested sights or type your own for the route, and print. You can design and print a basic set free.

Is it good for young kids?

Yes. Switch to a smaller 3x3 or 4x4 grid in the editor so games finish faster, which suits younger kids on a long drive far better than a full card.

How many cards do I need?

One per traveler. Each card is randomly shuffled from the same square list, so siblings get unique grids and no one fights over who spotted what.

Can I print them on regular paper?

Yes. The print view is sized for standard letter and A4 paper, so any home printer works, and you can also order professionally printed cards.
