Joshua Tree National Park Bingo Cards

A game for the drive out and the trail in. Cards are filled with real sights to spot at Joshua Tree — a Joshua tree, a jackrabbit, a rock scrambler — and the first to a line wins.

Free to design and print · edit any square · 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5

Joshua Tree bingo keeps kids and friends scanning the desert for the park's real plants, animals, and rock formations. Use it on the drive in or on a hike, keep the sights below or add ones from your route, and cards print in a couple of minutes.

Because every card is shuffled from the same square list, no two travelers get the same grid, so the whole car can play at once and each person still hunts for their own desert sights to mark.

Ideas for your game
  • Play it on the drive in

Fill squares with roadside sights so kids watch the windows for boulders, signs, and desert plants instead of asking how much longer the drive is.

  • Make it a trail game

Hand out a card at the trailhead and let hikers mark each plant or animal they spot, turning a walk into a slow scavenger hunt of the park.

  • Print a stack or play on phones

Print a few cards for the glovebox, or share one link and a QR code so everyone marks sights on their phones without losing a paper card on the trail.

Editable and printable

Edit every square. Open the card in the editor, keep the suggested squares or replace them with your own words, emoji, or photos, and pick a theme that fits the day.

Print a whole set at once. Each card is shuffled from the same square list, so every player gets a unique grid. Print to standard letter or A4 paper on any home printer — or order professionally printed cards shipped to your door.

Or play live. Share one link and a QR code and the whole room plays from their phones, in person or over video.

Questions

How do I make Joshua Tree bingo for free?

Open the editor, pick a theme, keep the suggested desert sights or type your own, and print. A basic set is free to design and print at home.

Are the squares real park sights?

Yes. The squares list real plants, animals, and rock formations found at Joshua Tree, so the card works as a genuine trip and trail companion.

How many cards do I need?

One per traveler. Each card is randomly shuffled from the same square list, so any size group gets unique grids and a fair race to a line.

Can I print them on regular paper?

Yes. The print view is sized for standard letter and A4 paper, so any home printer works, and you can also order professionally printed cards.
