Human Bingo Cards

The mingling game that gets a new group talking. Every square is a "find someone who" prompt — players move around the room, ask questions, and write a name in each square that fits.

Free to design and print · edit any square · 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5

Human bingo is the classic way to break the ice at an orientation, a team offsite, or the first day of a class. Each square names a trait or experience — speaks two languages, has a pet, has run a marathon — and players walk around finding someone it applies to, then write that person's name in the box. Start from the corkboard template, keep the prompts below, or edit them to fit your particular group.

Because every card is shuffled from the same prompt list, players end up needing different people, which keeps the whole room mixing rather than clustering. Print a stack on letter or A4 paper, or share one link and a QR code so a remote or hybrid group can play from their devices.

Ideas for your game
  • Set a one-name rule

Tell players they can write each person's name only once, so they have to talk to as many people as possible instead of filling the card from one chatty neighbor.

  • Tailor prompts to the group

Edit the squares to fit the room — new hires, a wedding party, a club — adding prompts that spark stories specific to the people in front of you.

  • Print a stack or play on phones

Print cards for an in-person crowd, or share one link and a QR code so a hybrid or remote group can mingle in chat and still play along.

Editable and printable

Edit every square. Open the card in the editor, keep the suggested squares or replace them with your own words, emoji, or photos, and pick a theme that fits the day.

Print a whole set at once. Each card is shuffled from the same square list, so every player gets a unique grid. Print to standard letter or A4 paper on any home printer — or order professionally printed cards shipped to your door.

Or play live. Share one link and a QR code and the whole room plays from their phones, in person or over video.

Questions

How do I make a human bingo card for free?

Open the editor, pick the corkboard theme, keep the find-someone-who prompts or write your own, and print. A basic set is free to design and print.

How does the game actually work?

Players mingle and find someone each prompt describes, then write that person's name in the square. The first to complete a line or the full card wins.

Can I make the prompts fit my group?

Yes. Every square is editable, so you can swap in prompts about your company, classroom, or event to get people sharing relevant stories.

How many cards do I need?

One per player. Each card is shuffled from the same prompt list, so people need different matches and the whole room keeps mixing.
