Boy Scout Badges Bingo Cards

A camp-friendly game that doubles as a skills refresher. Hand out cards of merit-badge topics to recognize — first aid, knot tying, fire safety, orienteering — and let scouts mark a square as each skill comes up during the meeting or activity.

Free to design and print · edit any square · 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5

This card fits a troop meeting, a campout, or a rainy-day activity when you want something both fun and educational. Fill the grid with merit-badge themes and the skills behind them, then let scouts mark squares as a leader calls topics or as each skill gets demonstrated.

Keep the suggested squares below or tailor them to the badges your troop is currently working toward. Because every printed card is shuffled from the same list, each scout gets a unique grid, so the whole patrol can play together without anyone winning at the same time.

Ideas for your game
  • Use it as a skills review

Read out a badge topic and have scouts mark it only after someone names a real requirement, turning the game into a quick refresher on what each badge covers.

  • Play it at a campout

Hand out cards at the start of the weekend and let scouts mark a square each time they actually do the skill, from pitching a tent to building a fire.

  • Print for the troop or play on phones

Print a card for every scout, or share a link and QR code so older scouts can mark squares on their phones during an outdoor activity.

Editable and printable

Edit every square. Open the card in the editor, keep the suggested squares or replace them with your own words, emoji, or photos, and pick a theme that fits the day.

Print a whole set at once. Each card is shuffled from the same square list, so every player gets a unique grid. Print to standard letter or A4 paper on any home printer — or order professionally printed cards shipped to your door.

Or play live. Share one link and a QR code and the whole room plays from their phones, in person or over video.

Questions

How do I make a merit-badge bingo card?

Open the editor, pick an outdoor theme, keep the suggested badge topics or add the ones your troop is earning, and print. A basic set is free to design and print.

Can I match it to our current badges?

Yes. Every square is editable, so you can swap in the exact merit badges your patrol is working toward and remove any that do not apply this season.

How many cards should I print?

One per scout. Each card is shuffled from the same square list, so a whole troop can play together and every scout still gets a different grid.

Is this good for younger scouts?

Yes. Switch to a 3x3 or 4x4 grid in the editor so games finish faster, which keeps younger scouts engaged through a full meeting or activity block.
